Exit 6 Film Festival, Creative Co-Ordinator and Assistant

I was invited to work allongside the Exit 6 Film Festival team through Andover College due to my studies in Film making.

It was a fantastic opportunity to work alongside many professionals and assist in all ways possible, this led to my role being Creative Coordinator for the team which entailed creating work for socials such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

During the actual week of the film festival held in multiple facilities around Basingstoke, focused mainly at The Anvil Theatre, I had the responsibility of ensuring the film creators were in the right destination at the correct time, and helping the public to find genres and specific film entries they decided to see.

In conclusion, I was able to learn a working environment of a film festival by going straight into the deep end with the knowledge I had about social media and the different ways it can be used as a marketing technique.
