My Story Project, with The Mayflower Theatre and City Eye

The My Story project focused on documenting the theatre's history and the personal stories of the local community. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, it was an honour to be a part of creating documentation of the impact this theatre has had on its community.

Alongside a team of young people and professionals I was offered opportunities to film and interview members of the public and those that work within the theatre. I was also introduced to using professional sound equipment and plenty more, working alongside the production team from City Eye.

Over the course of the summer we decided to create a short video and use the footage we had captured for more than just the online archives we produced.
